Cecilia sighed with relief as the carriage rolled up to the manor. Although she was somewhat isolated in the house, she loved it dearly, and cherished the solitude it supplied her with, well, when her Aunt was preoccupied or asleep that is. The house was a thing of beauty. The old masonry exterior was being scaled by lattices of wildflowers and ivy, and the gardens were flourishing with springtime flowers and trees coming into blossom. The gravel drive was immaculately kept, although the lack of visitors probably made this much easier than it would be otherwise. Glancing at the window, she noticed her Aunt was currently entertaining a guest. Discarding her coat and bonnet as she entered the house she went through the the drawing room to greet her Aunt.
